Bridging technical process engineering with business development across Oman’s energy and industrial sectors.
Working professional bridging technical chemical and process engineering expertise with client relationships, business development, and strategic advisory at Falaj Point. Passionate about process simulation, blue hydrogen, CO₂ capture, and Oman's energy transition. OPAL-certified in H2S Safety and HSE.
About Me
As a Business Relationship Manager at Falaj Point, I bridge technical chemical and process engineering expertise with business development and strategic advisory. I actively support industrial and energy sector clients across Oman, engaging with the national chemical and process consulting landscape on ministerial-level projects and industrial cluster initiatives.
My foundation is built on rigorous technical knowledge, culminating in a comprehensive capstone project on Blue Hydrogen Production from Flare Gas — simulated using Aspen HYSYS and assessed for techno-economic viability aligned with Oman Vision 2040. My core technical interests encompass process simulation, CO₂ capture, distillation column design, and heat integration.
Prior to my current role, at Falcon Wireline & Drilling Systems, I contributed to process safety documentation, SOPs, and HSE compliance within oil & gas field operations. At Port of Duqm Company (PODC), I worked in industrial asset management and preventive maintenance planning, gaining hands-on exposure to equipment troubleshooting, digital work order systems, and industrial reliability practices.
In parallel, I founded MuayadFit, a digital health and fitness brand in Oman, which served as a dynamic entrepreneurial venture that sharpened my business acumen, partnership building, and data analytics skills.
My Work
A comprehensive technical study on post-combustion CO₂ capture systems, evaluating absorption-based and membrane separation technologies. The project covers process flow design, equipment sizing, mass and energy balance calculations, and sustainability impact assessment. Simulation results quantify CO₂ reduction potential and evaluate integration with existing industrial processes, providing a feasibility framework aligned with Oman's Vision 2040 decarbonisation targets.
A detailed plant design proposal for a Precipitated Calcium Carbonate production facility, covering raw material selection, reaction pathway (carbonation process), equipment specifications, and process flow diagrams. The study includes techno-economic analysis evaluating CAPEX and OPEX, with a market feasibility assessment. PCC is a key industrial mineral used in paper, plastics, and pharmaceuticals, making this project directly relevant to petrochemical diversification strategies.
A rigorous hand-calculation and simulation-supported study of distillation column design, covering feed tray location, reflux ratio optimisation, number of theoretical plates (McCabe-Thiele method), and column diameter sizing. The project demonstrates a thorough understanding of vapour-liquid equilibrium, tray efficiency, and separation performance — core competencies for refinery fractionation units such as CDU/VDU atmospheric columns and product splitters.
A business case presentation for implementing a digital work order management system in an industrial asset management environment. Drawing from my work at Port of Duqm Company, this proposal evaluates the transition from paper-based to digital workflows, quantifies efficiency gains, reduces human-error risk, and improves traceability for maintenance and turnaround planning. Demonstrates strong cross-disciplinary skills in engineering, operations, and digital transformation.
